The future for florist shops is also shifting as more and more consumers take advantage of the convenience of online florist shops to order and ship their arrangements. Cost-effective to run, since there are no workers to hire or insurance to pay, networking with storefront florists to arrange and deliver is the future for many florists.
As florist areas inside retailers and grocery stores grow, it’s predicted that the majority of shoppers will buy their flowers there; and while the demand for fresh flowers will continue to be the norm, a lesser amount of consumers want or need excessive floral designs and they just aren’t as willing to pay for them.
